Did you ever wonder where your county got its name? Missouri counties take their names from governors, presidents, war heroes and natural resources. Join us to learn more about Missouri’s historic place names. The program will be held in the Missouri State Museum's History Hall, located in the east wing of the Missouri State Capitol.
The program continues the museum's ongoing series, "Museum After Hours," held the first Wednesday of each month. In addition to the program, the museum's galleries will be open until 9 p.m.
