Museum After Hours: What's in a Name?

Did you know that you can visit Paris, Milan and Dresden without leaving Missouri? The origin of some Missouri town names may seem obvious. Other names can appear rather strange, odd or downright Peculiar! Join us to explore the stories behind the names of some of Missouri’s most interesting places. Click here to read the news release.

The program continues the museum's ongoing series, "Museum After Hours," held the first Wednesday of each month.  In addition to the program, the museum's galleries will be open until 9 p.m.  The program will be held in the Missouri State Museum's History Hall, located in the east wing of the Missouri State Capitol.
