Fall on the Farm

10/5/2013 | Watkins Woolen Mill State Historic Site | Lawson, MO

Join our costumed interpreters as they demonstrate rural life of the 1870s. Special activities include sheep shearing, corn shelling, cider pressing, gardening, blacksmithing, wood stove cooking, seed saving, toy making, Victorian children’s games and rag doll making. Tours of the woolen mill will be available for a fee. The Mount Vernon Church and Franklin school will be open. There will be no admission charge for the event itself.
