Celebrate Earth Day a little early by helping protect the park. Two volunteer teams will be formed from participants: “the litter getters” and the “trail detectives.” Volunteer an hour or several hours. Groups and individuals are encouraged to sign up and help. Participants should bring gloves and insect repellent, and wear sturdy shoes. Make it more fun and bring a picnic lunch. Call the park naturalist by April 15 to register.
