Why wait for the first of the year when you can get your First Day Hike before the new year begins? Join park staff for a guided hike on New Year’s Eve. We'll walk the 3-mile Paved Trail, observing the winter splendor as we go. Just because it's winter doesn't mean it isn't exciting!
Paved Trail is a moderately difficult loop with some rolling hills. Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes; dress for the weather; and bring cameras, hand lenses and binoculars. The hike will begin at the trailhead near the dog park.
This program is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. In the event of inclement weather, the hike will be canceled.
