Missouri State Parks and the Friends of Hawn Association will host a volunteer appreciation event at the park on Saturday, June 7. Anyone who is passionate about Hawn State Park or who wants to learn more about the park is encouraged to attend.
The event will feature a small lunch, a discussion area, information about the park, merchandise sales and other opportunities to support the friends group. All activities will take place at the picnic shelter. Admission is free, and there is no need to register. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and bottled water.
