Needle felting is the art of using barbed needles to shape wool into sculptures. Join us in the interpretive center at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site to make a sculpture of Missouri’s state bird. No, it's not the cardinal – it's the eastern bluebird. During this class, you will you learn some basic needle felting techniques, as well as information about bluebirds. All materials will be provided, but you may want to bring a snack or drink.
Space is limited to 12 people, and online registration is required. Registration opens April 1 and costs $10. No felting experience is necessary, but participants must be at least 12 years of age.
