Fall Hike: Redbud Trail

Join Crowder State Park staff for a guided hike or two – or seven – this fall! We will be offering a hike on each of our trails to showcase the beauty and diversity of the park! 

These hikes are free and open to the public. Participants should wear comfortable closed-toe walking shoes and bring water and a snack.

Hikes Schedule:
  • Saturday, Sept. 16, at 8 a.m. – 2-mile hike on Redbud Trail. Meet park staff at the campground amphitheater.
  • Saturday, Sept. 30, at 9 a.m. – 3.8-mile hike on the North Loop of Thompson River Trail. Meet park staff at the equestrian parking lot. From the park entrance, head west on Highway 146. Turn right on 52nd Avenue, then right on Dove Lane. Dove Lane ends at the equestrian parking lot.
  • Friday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m. – 2-mile hike on Redbud Trail. Meet park staff at the tennis court parking lot.
  • Friday, Oct. 13, at 9 a.m. – 4.2-mile hike on Tall Oaks Trail. Meet park staff at the campground amphitheater.
  • Saturday, Oct. 14, at 9 a.m. – 3.2-mile hike on Tall Oaks Trail. Meet park staff at the Shelter 3 parking lot.
  • Friday, Oct. 20, at 9 a.m. – 5-mile hike on a portion of Tall Oaks Trail, Connector 2, Connector 3, and a portion of the South Loop of Thompson River Trail. Meet park staff at the campground amphitheater.
  • Saturday, Oct. 21, at 9 a.m. – 2-mile hike on River Forks Trail. Meet park staff at the lake parking lot.
