Lake of the Ozarks State Park will host a First Day Hike on Hidden Springs Trail on New Year’s Day 2024. The hike will be 2.5 miles long and will be moderately difficult. It will begin at the trailhead parking lot located across from the stables on Highway 134. The trailhead parking lot is 3.5 miles south of the park office, which is located at 403 Highway 134 in Kaiser, Missouri.
Hikers may encounter natural surfaces such as dirt, mud, gravel, loose rocks and slippery surfaces; rocks, roots or downed vegetation on the trail; and steep grades over 10%. Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks and to dress for the weather. The event is free and open to all ages.
