1/1/2025 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO
Join Missouri State Museum staff for an urban exploration around Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, the Capitol complex, and Jefferson City Parks’ Deborah Cooper Park on Adrian’s Island. Staff will provide a tour as we take in the views of the Missouri River and the historic buildings. The hike will cover about 1.5 miles on sidewalks with some slight-to-moderate inclines, including the Bicentennial Bridge.
It may be windy and chilly during the hike. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate shoes, dress warmly, and bring water. Museum staff will be using a sound system that works with your favorite old-school headphones with a standard 3.5-millimeter headphone jack to help you hear all the great info. A limited supply of headphones will be available.
This event is free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages. Registration is required and can be completed by clicking here.
