Accessibility Information

at Union Covered Bridge State Historic Site

Parking for this bridge is of packed, mostly level gravel with one paved handicapped parking space. The one-eighth-mile route to the bridge is a historic roadbed and consists of a grass and dirt surface. The path to the bridge from the parking lot is level; however, a substantial slope occurs at the approach to the covered bridge. Information kiosks, near the parking space, interpret the bridge. The area is occasionally subject to flooding and may be closed during times of high water.
