America is chock full of parks. All of them mean something to somebody. But few mean as much to as many people as Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park in Missouri. The East Fork of the Black River has cut a gorge in the rocks of the park, providing a natural water playground of chutes, falls and pools that thousands of Missourians – of every age – play in each year. Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park may well be Missouri’s favorite park. Voting for it as ‘America’s Favorite Park’ will help us make it even better.
