Missouri Governor's Mansion Tours

Out of caution, all planned group tours or school groups, including tours at the Missouri state Capitol, are suspended through April 30 in order to avoid large congregations of people in confined areas. In addition, all indoor guided tours, including tours of historic buildings and caves are suspended through April 30. Self-guided tours of visitor centers, museums and nature centers remain open at this time.

Inside the walls of the Missouri Governor’s Mansion, guests will have the opportunity to step back in time and learn about our state’s history. The Missouri Governor’s Mansion is one of few executive residences in the United States open to the public. Tour reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. It is recommended that you schedule some additional time in between your tours because of the distance between the Capitol and the Governor’s Mansion.

Free guided tours are given by volunteer docents thanks to the support of the Friends of the Missouri Governor’s Mansion Docent Program. Once you have booked your tour, please read all information carefully to fully understand the Mansion guidelines.

Missouri Governor’s Mansion guided tours are provided throughout the year. Please see our schedule below for more information. Tour reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. A photo ID and/or additional information may be required before entering for security purposes.
