2 p.m. Fall Colors Hike

Join the naturalist for a hike on a portion of Lakeside Trail to view the fall colors along Lake Lincoln.  Meet at the beach parking lot.

7 p.m.  More Than Just a Snot Otter:  Hellbenders in Missouri

Often called a “snot otter,” “mud devil,” and other not-so-nice names, the hellbender is Missouri’s largest aquatic salamander.  Despite its appearance, hellbenders and their salamander relatives are truly amazing creatures!   Join the naturalist at the amphitheater in the campground to learn more about their decline, and how you can help!
