Eclipse: Viewing Locations

8/21/2017 | Rock Bridge Memorial State Park | Columbia, MO

Plan to experience the total eclipse while surrounded by nature.  Please call 573-449-7400 in advance to receive information about locations within the park that are suitable for good viewing of the eclipse.  These locations have been chosen because they are on high ground with open views of the sky and have been prepared by mowing places where people are welcome to set up lawn chairs or blankets. Staff and volunteers will be stationed at the viewing locations to provide some information and assistance.  Don't forget to purchase your eclipse viewers well in advance. If you forget, a limited supply will be for sale at the viewing locations (cash only).

This event is open to anyone; reservations will not be taken. Parking space is not guaranteed; suggestions for parking will be provided. The viewing locations range from ADA accessible to involving a walk of 1/4 to 1/2 mile.

Viewing times: 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
