Have you been on the prowl for owls? Join Washington State Park interpretive staff as they explore the world of owls. Approximately one hour.
Saturday, June 18
1 p.m. - Petroglyph and Glade Tour - Petroglyph Site
This guided interpretive walk highlights two of Washington State Park's unique features. The walk begins with a tour of the ancient Native American rock carvings and will then venture out into the glade to explore this amazing landscape. Approximately one hour.
4 p.m. - Nature Hour – Big River Day-Use Area
Join Washington State Park interpretive staff for nature hour! During this hour, visitors will learn about the butterflies and complete a butterfly activity. Approximately one hour.
7 p.m. - Ssssssnakes! – Campground Amphitheater
What do you know about slithering, sliding snakes? Washington State Park interpretive staff will give a guide to these super creatures you’ll encounter in nature. Approximately one hour.
Sunday, June 19
9 a.m. – Nature Hour – Campground Amphitheater
Join Washington State Park interpretive staff for nature hour! During this session, visitors will learn tips and tricks for fishing in Missouri waterways. Approximately one hour.
