Paddle Stockton!

10/6/2016 | Stockton State Park | Dadeville, MO

Stockton State Park will be offering canoeists and kayakers an opportunity to get together with other paddle enthusiasts and enjoy the Stockton State Park Water Trail. Join us on the first Thursday of each month, beginning in April, and paddle your kayak or canoe on the Stockton State Park Water Trail. The trail is 6.65 miles long and takes experienced paddlers two to three hours of steady paddling to complete. If you have a canoe or kayak and want to get out and explore the lake, but are hesitant to go out on your own, this is your chance! We will paddle each month, through October, and observe how the lake changes throughout the year. We will begin at the Stockton State Park Marina Water Trail trailhead and follow the trail along the shoreline around Stockton State Park ending at the Hartley Boat Launch. This program is free and open to the public. You will need to provide your own equipment and PFDs are required to be worn at all times. For more information, contact the park office at 417-276-4259.

Stockton State Park is located 9 miles south of Stockton on Highway 215.
