National Public Lands Day

Sept. 27

National Public Lands Day is the largest single-day volunteer effort for public lands in the United States. This event educates Americans about the environment and natural resources, and the need for shared stewardship of these valued, irreplaceable lands.

This year, Missourii State Parks is participating in this important day by hosting a variety of events around the state. These events are both educational and service-oriented. See the list below to find an event near you. Click on the event name for more information about each event.
