Crowder State Park staff is collaborating with Friends of the Thompson House to host a fun evening of Halloween activities on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The event will begin with a guided hike from the equestrian parking lot to the Thompson House at 6 p.m. Once at the Thompson House, participants will get to enjoy snacks, games, crafts and a campfire storytelling program. Then, at the end of the night, park staff will lead a spooky night back to the parking lot.
All activities are free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. Participants who do not wish to participate in the guided hikes may come and go as they please. Everyone is encouraged to bring a flashlight, as most of the event will take place after sunset.
