Mother's Day Tea

5/3/2025 | First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site | St. Charles, MO

Throughout history, tea parties have been a way for people to spend quality time together with family members and friends. And quality time is the best gift you can give someone – especially your mother!

Come join us in the interpretive center at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site for a tea party to celebrate a mother in your life. (If you are a mother, be sure to send this to your children as a not-so-subtle hint.) Interpreter Emily will be serving different types of tea and a light sandwich lunch while covering the history of tea from antiquity to the present.

This program is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register, call the historic site at 636-940-3322 or visit us at 200 S. Main St. in downtown St. Charles.

Event time: noon - 2 p.m.
