Nature Journaling

8/12/2023 | Mastodon State Historic Site | Imperial, MO

Naturalist and artist John Muir Laws said it best: “Nature journaling will enrich your experiences and develop observation, curiosity, gratitude, reverence, memory, and the skills of a naturalist.” Join us as we dive into the world of nature journaling. We’ll create our own beginner’s journal and discuss techniques to fill it. Then, we’ll explore the Limestone Hill Trail and begin to fill up our journals. Participants are encouraged to bring their own art supplies. Don’t have any or don’t know what to bring? Don’t worry—we’ll provide the basics!

This workshop will meet at the museum entrance, located at 1050 Charles J Becker Drive in Imperial. This is a FREE program. Registration is REQUIRED and space is limited. For more information or to register, call the historic site office at 636-464-2976.

Event Time: 2 p.m.
