Special-Use Camping Area

at St. Francois State Park

The special-use camping area is designated for group camping, with nonprofit organizations and youth groups having priority. The area consists of five individual campsites, each equipped with a picnic table, fire pit and lamp post. In addition, the area's amenities include a drinking water spigot (water available April 1-Oct. 31), a covered group meeting area with picnic tables, and a large group campfire pit. There is a capacity limit of 40 people.

The fee for use of the area is $2 per person, per night. For more information or to reserve the area for your group, call 573-358-2173.
