at Knob Noster State Park

two tents set up in a grassy fieldSpecial-use camping areas are for use by nonprofit organizations. These areas are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Organized youth groups (Scouts, 4-H, church, etc.) have priority. To ensure that a camping site is available for your group's use, call 660-563-2463 or visit the park office Mondays and Tuesdays 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and then Wednesdays through Fridays 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The fee for use of the area is $2 per person, per night. Tax is added to the fee unless a tax-exempt certificate is provided. Only four vehicles are allowed per site.
