Social-distancing signage has been placed throughout the grounds of the historic site. Hand sanitizing stations have been placed in each restroom.

Thome-Benning House (Cannonball House) hours

COVID-19 Temporary Hours

Beginning on Saturday, April 3, 2021, tours will resume at the Thome-Benning House. Park staff will be at the building to answer questions or give tours from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through the duration of the on-season. If a group wants a guided tour during weekdays, it can find park staff by going to the office, by calling 660-877-3871, or by pre-scheduling the time and date.

    10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday
    No tours offered Monday and Tuesday
  • November through March (off-season)
    By prior appointment only
