1/1/2024 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO
Join Missouri State Museum staff on Jan. 1, 2024, for an urban exploration around Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, the Capitol Complex, and Jefferson City Parks’ Deborah Cooper Park on Adrian Island. Staff will provide a tour as we take in the views of the Missouri River and the historic buildings. The hike will cover about 1.5 miles on sidewalks with some slight-to-moderate inclines, including the Bicentennial Bridge.
It may be windy and chilly during the hike. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate shoes, dress for the weather, and bring water. Museum staff will be using a Bluetooth-enabled microphone, so bring your favorite headphones to help you hear all the great info!
