Landing After Hours: Mapping Missouri's Black Towns and Settlements

Missouri State Parks, Lincoln University and the Missouri History Museum are partnering to host Dr. Atyia Martin, founder of Next Leadership Development, and Cymone Davis, founder of Black Towns Municipal Management, for a multicity tour. Martin and Davis will discuss the background and vision for their nationwide Black Towns and Settlements mapping project. Join us at the Scruggs Student Center at Lincoln University to learn how you can help to identify and document Missouri's Black communities and help them thrive.

The Missouri State Museum's "Landing After Hours" program is held the first Wednesday of each month. In April, the program will be held at Lincoln University's Scruggs Student Center Ballroom in Jefferson City.

Program Time: 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. | Doors Open: 6:30 p.m.
