The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
Staff from the park will be on hand to provide information about the park and answer questions. The public is invited to share comments about the park and its operations.
The meeting will take place at the Lower Picnic Area Shelter, where food will be available during the meeting. The same day, a guided hike and history program will leave from the visitor center at 2:30. In addition, the visitor center will be hosting a bicentennial quilt display from 9 a.m. to noon and 12:30-4:30 p.m.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create a two-way communication. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
