Water Festival

7/16/2022 | Rock Bridge Memorial State Park | Columbia, MO

Have fun with water and learn about streams and animals that live in streams through activities designed for children and families. Staff with several agencies and organizations will provide activities and displays, including guided tours of Connor's Cave; opportunities to catch aquatic animals in the stream; a live turtle display; an interactive stream model; signups for library cards; and information about birds, fish and how to keep our streams healthy. Children (4 and up) will be assisted with using nets to catch aquatic animals in the stream near the Devil's Icebox parking lot.

This event is co-sponsored by Boone County Stormwater, Missouri Stream Teams, the Missouri River Bird Observatory, the Daniel Boone Regional Library, Missouri Master Naturalists, Quail Forever and the park.
