Kids to Parks Day

Come out to Thousand Hills State Park to celebrate Kids to Parks day!

Event Schedule:

11 a.m. – Nature Detective Hike

Animals leave behind clues to tell us they have been in the area. Join park staff to explore the many different clues animals leave behind and learn what animals share the park with us. This hike will take place on Oak Trail, located next to the playground on Big Loop Road.

1-3 p.m.  Nature Crafts and Storytime

Take part in crafts and nature stories for kids and kids at heart. These activities will be set up from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. near the playground on Big Loop Road.
