Join the park naturalist for a hike on Frenchman's Bluff Trail to enjoy a variety of spring wildflowers. Spring wildflowers, called ephemerals, have a short blooming period. Ephemerals bloom early, taking advantage of the sunlight hitting the woodland floor before the trees leaf out. You won't want to miss this opportunity to learn all about the incredible variety of wildflowers you can find at Cuivre River State Park!
Bring a camera, sturdy walking shoes and a water. Frenchman's Bluff Trail is a 1.5-mile trail that is moderate in intensity but family friendly. Visitors should meet the naturalist at the Stone Shelter parking lot.
