Landing After Hours: German Missourians at Statehood

4/6/2022 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

Two German Missourians were among the 41 delegates elected to the constitutional convention in 1820. What did they do at the convention and afterward? What shifts in political views did they witness between statehood and the Civil War? Join interpretive aide Stephana Landwehr as she shares historic maps, images, documents and more on Missouri's earliest German citizens.

This program will be held in person at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site and also livestreamed on the Missouri State Museum’s Facebook page.
