Canceled: First Day Hike

1/1/2022 | Robertsville State Park | Robertsville, MO

This event has been canceled.

Come out to Robertsville State Park to celebrate the first day of 2022 with a hike! Be a part of the nationwide movement as hikes across all 50 states kick off the new year outside and on the trail. Join park staff at the Spice Bush Trailhead at 1 p.m. on Jan. 1 to explore a beautiful example of a Missouri bottomland forest. Spice Bush Trail is 0.8 mile, moderately difficult, and will take approximately 40-50 minutes to hike. All guests should wear closed-toe shoes, bring water, and dress for the weather.

Pets are welcome, but they must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and will be asked to remain toward the back of the group. Please leave your pets at home if they do not interact well with others.

This event is free and open to everyone ages 6 and up. For more information or to check the status of the hike, call the park office at 636-257-3788.

Registration for this event is required, and a sign-up link will be available here: https://icampmo1.usedirect.com/MSPWeb/Activities/Search.aspx
