A Very Peck Christmas: Shopping in 1821

Come out to First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site to experience shopping in an 1821 general store on the frontier! The afternoon and evening of Friday, Dec. 10, we will have the Peck Bros. Dry Goods and Hardware Store open to the public. Products for sale will include, but not be limited to, old-fashioned toys and games, candy, lye soap, tea blocks, and handmade Christmas ornaments. Enjoy the old-time atmosphere and shop the unique and old-time items that are perfect as stocking stuffers and small gifts!

Hot chocolate and apple cider will be a free perk to patrons while they shop.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, shop capacity is limited, and face masks are encouraged, but not required, for unvaccinated patrons.
