Begin the new year with a hike along Mastodon State Historic Site's Spring Branch Trail. The trail offers a leisurely 0.80-mile hike through the Rock Creek bottomland. The packed gravel surface is manageable for wheelchairs and strollers. Participants should dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. We will meet in the picnic area off Seckman Road, where coffee and hot chocolate will be available. The guided hike will begin at 10 a.m., and participants are welcome to utilize additional trails after the hike.
