Historical Haunts at the Homestead

10/23/2021 | Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site | Ash Grove, MO

Come out to the Boone Homestead for an evening filled with the Ozarks’ best ghost tales, legends and superstitions! Join us around the bonfire as Todd Wilkinson, project manager for the James River Basin Partnership, spins yarns of ghoulies, ghosties and things that go bump in the Ozarks night, based on the writings of noted folklorist Vance Randolph. Then, join Boone Homestead staff on a candlelit tour of the Boone family cemetery and the African American cemetery.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
