Informational Meeting

The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.

Staff from Mastodon State Historic Site will be on hand to provide information about that site as well as Gov. Daniel Dunklin's Grave and Sandy Creek Covered Bridge state historic sites, and answer questions. The public is invited to share comments about the sites and their operations.

Mastodon State Historic Site will be hosting Archaeology Month activities from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and admission to the historic site museum is free for the entire day.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create a two-way communication. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
