Aug. 10, 2021, marks the 200th anniversary of Missouri statehood. Commemorate the day by attending an ice cream social with the park naturalists at the Stone Shelter. Visitors will learn how to make homemade ice cream without an ice cream maker. You can create your favorite flavor or go wild and try ice cream made from three different wild edible plants found at the park: blackberry, Queen Anne's lace and wild mint.
The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others. For more information about this event, call the park office at 636-528-7247.
