Meet park staff at the lake parking lot on Saturday, April 24 at 10 a.m. for a guided wildflower hike on River Forks Trail. This will be a 2-mile moderate hike. During the hike, park staff will point out wildflowers and other interesting features seen along the way. We will also look for eagles at the fork of the Thompson and Weldon rivers.
Participants are encouraged to bring water and wear comfortable hiking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. They are also encouraged to wear their choice of insect repellent to avoid tick and insect bites when spending time outdoors. Social-distancing measures will be practiced during the hike.
Hike Time: 10 a.m. - noon
