Washington State Park will host its annual First Day Hike on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021. The hike will begin at 1 p.m. at the interpretive center and will be approximately 2.5 miles long over natural and road surfaces. This guided hike will traverse parts of 1,000 Steps Trail, Rockywood Trail and Highway 104. Interpretive staff will guide participants and talk about the cultural and natural features of the park.
While there is no cost to attend this event, preregistration is required and space is limited. Participants are encouraged to follow recommended guidelines regarding COVID-19. Dress accordingly for this outdoor experience. All events are weather and conditions permitting and subject to change.
Hike Time: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
