Have you experienced a prairie as night falls? No? Well, here is your chance to find out what happens as the sun goes down. Join us for an Evening Stroll on the prairie at 7:30 p.m. We will gain a greater appreciation for the prairie as day fades into night. Think nothing is going on? Think again! Some plants flower only at night, and many animals are more active when it is cooler. We will take about a 1-mile hike across the prairie. Come on out and see what can be discovered.
Meet at the Regal Tallgrass Prairie Nature Center. Please bring a flashlight, and wear sturdy shoes and long pants. The use of insect repellent is suggested.
