Raptor Basics - World Bird Sanctuary

Come to Meramec State Park and see live raptors from the World Bird Sanctuary! Discover what a raptor is and how they are different from other birds! Explore how they hunt and where they live. Learn this and so much more during this program – including what we as humans can do to ensure raptors’ survival!  

Although none of the birds will fly, they will be on the gloves of a World Bird Sanctuary naturalist. The program will be held at the park amphitheater. Please note that the World Bird Sanctuary has requested that absolutely no dogs be present at the program, for the safety and comfort of the birds.
