Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May. Come discover and explore Bennett Spring State Park.
Organized activities include:
- 9 a.m. – Fish hatchery tour
- 10 a.m. –Savanna Ridge Trail hike – Meet at the Savanna/Natural Tunnel Trailhead
- 1 p.m. – Oak Hickory Trail hike – Meet at the nature center
- 2 p.m. – Fish hatchery tour
- 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. – Naturalist table and scavenger hunt – Nature center
All hikers are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes, bring water and apply insect repellent prior to arrival.
