Bring the family to the park for the Great American Campout! Participate in one or all of the activities throughout the day.

Activities
  • 1 p.m. – Missouri Mammals at the Overlook
    Learn about the mammals that roam around Missouri. View pelts and discover when these animals are active and what types of food they prefer to eat.
  • 4 p.m. – Lewis and Clark at the Weston Bluff Tail
    These famous explorers were in this area on July 2, 1804. Learn about the expedition and view some items similar to what they would have carried on their adventure.
  • 9 p.m. – Sights and Sounds of the Night Hike
    Learn about the nocturnal animals and owls that can be seen in Missouri. Then go on a guided adventure for a chance to see these animals roaming the park. Suggested items for this program are comfortable shoes, insect repellent and a flashlight.
