Hoots and whinnies ... The night air is full of many different owl sounds. Discover some of our native owls during this owl prowl at Knob Noster State Park.
The program will begin at 8:30 p.m. at the Lil' Forest Amphitheater in the park campground, where participants will explore the various types of owls in Missouri. It will end with a brief night hike in which participants will try to call out to some of our resident owls. Maybe they will call back!
This program is expected to last about an hour. Please dress for the weather, and avoid wearing light-up shoes. Flashlight use on the brief night hike will be limited, and the walkway will be dimly lit. Be sure to protect yourself by wearing insect repellent.
