Bring the family to the park for an outdoor adventure! Participate in multiple activities and learn about the great outdoors. You will be able to stroll from station to station at your own leisure. The event will be held in the open field around the historic tobacco barn.

 

This year's activities are include:

 

  • Recycle Relay - Learn about recycling and how it is a great benefit to us! Then participate in a fun relay where you decide what can or cannot be recycled.

  • Great Bird Migration - Participants will get the opportunity to be a migrating bird and see what types of challenges our feathered friends face along the way.

  • Tree Survivor - Discover the importance of trees and forest health. Then "plant" your feet and compete with other participants for all the items needed for a tree to survive in a forest setting.

  • Power of Pollinators Craft Station - Bee aware of the power of these wonderful pollinators! Make paper flowers and bees to take home.
