First Day Hike

1/1/2020 | Wallace State Park | Cameron, MO

Join us at Wallace State Park on New Year’s Day for our annual First Day Hike! The 1-mile guided hike will lead hikers through the wooded campgrounds with opportunities to see winter birds, bird nests and animal tracks. The hike will take place on the park's paved roadways, which are accessible for strollers and wheelchairs and make for an easy hike.

We will meet at the campground showerhouse parking lot at 1 p.m. Participants should dress for the weather conditions that day. Visitors may call the park office on the day of the hike to check for cancellation due to inclement weather.

Registration is not required but is encouraged. Click here to register.

Hike Time: 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. | Meeting Location: Campground Showerhouse Parking Lot

First Day Hikes are promoted by America’s State Parks, and you will be joining hikers from all 50 states. Click here to view more First Day Hikes at Missouri State Parks.
