First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site will offer basket weaving classes every month from October 2019 through May 2020, excluding December. During these classes, participants will create a hand-crafted basket perfect for giving as a gift or keeping for themselves. All classes will be held at the historic site from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on a Saturday.
The style of basket and cost of the class will vary from month to month. For the April program, participants will create a spring flowers basket, and the cost is $40. All materials will be supplied. Participants may snacks and a drink if they wish.

- Nov. 16, 2019 - round harvest basket - $45
- Jan. 18, 2020 - remote tote basket - $40
- Feb. 15, 2020 - square cake basket - $40
- March 21, 2020 - car basket - $45
- April 18, 2020 - spring flowers basket - $40
- May 2, 2020 - mini market basket - $35
