Join, Save, Buy Food Drive

6/13/2019 to 6/15/2019 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

During World War I, Americans conserved food in order to help feed Europeans during the war. Through a community food drive, the Missouri State Museum plans to honor that legacy and help those in the Jefferson City community.

Please join the Missouri State Museum by dropping off non-perishable food items at the Rozier Gallery in the Union Hotel.  All items collected will benefit the HALO Foundation, which helps homeless youth in Jefferson City receive housing, food and more. After dropping off the items, explore the exhibit in the Rozier Gallery, “Join, Save, Buy: U.S. World War I Posters on the Home Front.” The exhibit will be on display until Aug. 3, 2019.

Drop-off hours:
  • Thursday, June 13: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, June 14: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 15: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
