Come out to the park for a hiking and camping safety demonstration. It is important for people of all ages to know how to react in case of emergencies when participating in outdoor recreation. We will simulate a number of scenarios during this program. A Missouri State Park ranger will also be joining us to share safety tips from a law enforcement point of view. This event will take place at the large shelter house in the day-use area.
