Micro-Hike

6/15/2019 | Ha Ha Tonka State Park | Camdenton, MO

Have you ever looked at a flower and wished to know more about what is going on inside of it? What the parts of a flower are? What creatures can be found inside of them? Well, come join us for a Micro-Hike on Acorn Trail. We will answer those questions, and see what flowers are blooming in the oak woodlands and glades. We will meet at the Turkey Pen parking lot. Bring sturdy shoes, bug spray, a camera and water as we will be walking the entire 0.9-mile trail. If you have a favorite magnifying glass or hand lens, bring those as well.

To get to the Turkey Pen parking lot from Highway 54, turn onto State Road D and follow for approximately 1.9 miles. The Turkey Pen parking lot will be on your left.

Hike time: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
